Your Board-Certified Cleveland Orthodontist
Meet Dr. Roman Achberger
My name is Dr. Roman Achberger. I’m originally from Los Angeles, California, near Pasadena, home of the world-famous Rose Parade. There, I grew up playing ice hockey of all things, and spent two years playing competitively near Boston, Massachusetts, in high school.
Orthodontics is a field where we can often change people's lives through the self-confidence their new smile instills. There is no greater feeling than when one of my patients walks out of my door smiling with their head held high, ready to take on the world with a sureness they never possessed before.
Education & Experience
I attended California Lutheran University, earning a Bachelor of Science in 2000. Upon graduation from CLU, I earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California in 2004.
During my time at USC, I had an opportunity to learn more about the field of orthodontics, and I instantly fell in love with it. For this reason, I chose to pursue a specialty in orthodontics at The Ohio State University, where I received my Master of Science in Orthodontics in 2007. Since then, I have been practicing full-time at two private practices in Crawford County, Ohio, one in Bucyrus and one in Galion.
Outside of the Office
I have two teenage daughters, Savannah and Meadow, who I love dearly and keep me quite busy. My wife, kids, and I enjoy the great outdoors and hiking, especially at National Parks. In my spare time, I like to spend time at the gym and weightlift. Afterward, I enjoy reading and petting our fat, friendly cat, Mabel.
